Learning and development at AMSA Academy
My work includes designing learning that helps supervisors develop a colleague’s capability. In the departmental trainer programme, the learning structure connects facilitation, practice, readiness assessment and workplace certification.
Working on the application of The KEY
I focus on connecting the guest experience with the conditions of delivery: constraints, behaviour, authority and ownership. The work shown includes learning situations, diagnostic and follow-up tools, and measurement planning using available operating data.
What these experiences have taught me
People need capability, opportunity, authority and support. Leaders need practical ways to observe, coach and decide. I work with teams to address skills and their conditions of use, then examine progress against the intended outcome.
The conviction that guides me
Hafawah guides how I design work: respect the person, understand the need, and make responsible performance possible. I learn from international practice and build in that spirit to fit the organisation’s context and create room for talent to grow.
